Free medical camp held at Dilawar Hussain Foundation Primary School

LAHORE, APRIL 2019: Dilawar Hussain Foundation recently held a free medical camp at the DHF Primary School, in collaboration with Kashif Iqbal Thalassemia Care Center, Novo Nordisk Pharma, Pakistan, Atco Laboratories and Zafa Pharmaceutical Laboratories.

The objective of the camp was to provide free healthcare service to the marginalized communities dwelling in urban slums. It was attended by 150 patients including students of Dilawar Hussain Foundation Primary School, their siblings and parents who got free medicines and medical advice.

During the camp Novo Nordisk Pharma provided free nutritional consultancy whereas Atco Laboratories Limited and Zafa Pharmaceutical Laboratories (Pvt) Ltd provided free medicines. Dr Shazia Khan, family physician and Rukhsana Imran, Lady Health Visitor of Dilawar Hussain Foundation provided medical advice, curative, preventive, and diabetes advice and referral.
